About The Association
The Erada Association for Community Development and Rehabilitation is a leading Palestinian charitable organization that strives to provide a distinguished model of humanitarian and community work. The association was founded to be a catalyst for development and a source of support for vulnerable groups, based on solid legal and national principles.
📅 Establishment and licensing:
The association has a comprehensive official legal status, as its journey began with obtaining a registration certificate from the competent authorities in Gaza on November 9, 2011. In continuation of its journey and to expand its scope of work, the association obtained an official work license from Ramallah on April 20, 2022, which enhances the confidence of donors and partners in its institutional performance.

“Iradah” transcends the traditional concept of charity, adopting an ambitious mission aimed at strengthening the resilience of Palestinian society through the following pillars:
- Leadership in Relief: Providing financial and in-kind assistance to impoverished and needy families through innovative and high-quality charitable programs and projects that ensure the dignity of beneficiaries and meet their actual needs.
- Supporting Education: Believing that education is the foundation of progress, the association works to support needy students at all educational levels to the best of its ability, ensuring they do not drop out of school due to economic circumstances.
- Partnership and Integration: Building bridges of cooperation with all institutions operating within the Gaza Strip to enhance social responsibility and unify efforts to advance society and achieve the greatest possible benefit.
- Creativity and Social Cohesion: Focusing on the values of creativity and innovation in service delivery, with the aim of bringing happiness to beneficiaries, improving social solidarity indicators, and strengthening cohesion among the people.

Summary of the association's achievements during the past period (so far):
- What the association has implemented over the past years: The association was able to obtain funding from the German-Palestinian Friendship Association in 2012, and a relief project was implemented that benefited 200 poor families and paid financial installments for a number of university students.
- The association also received funding from the same donor to implement a training and employment project for 100 women in Palestinian-style handicrafts and embroidery.
- In 2013, the association renovated two houses in the northern part of the Gaza Strip with funding from the German-Palestinian Friendship Association.
- In the same year, the association also secured funding through which it implemented a relief project for 300 impoverished families, in addition to providing clothing for 400 children from the same families benefiting from the project.
- In 2014, the association received funding from the German-Palestinian Friendship Association, through which it implemented a training and employment project for 100 individuals of both genders. The training focused on visual arts and sculpture.
- In the same year, the association suffered devastating damage when the Italian compound was bombed, destroying most of its holdings, including official documents and the outputs of its training project.
- Following these destructive events, the association secured funding from the German-Palestinian Friendship Association. This funding enabled the association to renovate its rented apartment and several other partially damaged houses, as well as distribute household furniture to a number of homes damaged in the bombing.
- Following the aggression, the association also managed to establish a partnership agreement with Save the Children and Aisha to conduct 90 psychosocial support sessions for all age groups, both male and female.
- In 2015, the association secured funding from the German-Palestinian Friendship Association, enabling it to implement a relief project for 400 marginalized families. This included providing school uniforms and stationery, as well as paying university tuition fees for a number of impoverished students.
- Also in 2015, the association received further funding from the German-Palestinian Friendship Association, which allowed it to renovate two houses in the Zeitoun area, provide relief to 300 impoverished families, and distribute Eid clothing to 400 orphaned children.
- In 2016, the association received funding from the Jerusalem-Washington Fund, which enabled the equipping of learning spaces for children with special needs in several kindergartens.
- The association also secured funding from the German-Palestinian Friendship Fund, which allowed for the establishment and complete furnishing of a kindergarten.
- A partnership agreement was signed with the Aisha Association and Save the Children to conduct several psychosocial support sessions for 100 abused women.
- An agreement was signed with the Palestinian Center for Conflict Resolution to conduct 60 sessions for 300 children (boys and girls) who have experienced domestic violence.
- Educational sessions on early marriage were conducted for parents in partnership with the Aisha Association in 2016.
- The association received funding from the German Friendship Fund in 2017, which enabled it to implement a relief project providing blankets and heaters to 300 impoverished families, in addition to food parcels.
- The association also received funding from the Jerusalem Fund in 2017, which allowed it to equip classrooms for children with special needs in several kindergartens.
- In 2017, the association received funding from the Palestinian Friendship Fund, which enabled it to implement a project distributing food parcels and winter clothing to 350 impoverished families.
- In 2017, the association, in partnership with the Aisha Association, conducted 60 sessions on reproductive health education for women.
- In 2018, the association received funding from the Jerusalem Fund, which enabled it to install drinking water purification filters in 30 kindergartens.
- In 2018, funding was obtained from the German Friendship Fund, which enabled the establishment and complete furnishing of a kindergarten in the Rafah area.
- Also in 2018, a partnership was signed with Save the Children to conduct 60 reproductive health education sessions for 300 women.
- Funding was obtained from the German Friendship Fund, which enabled the establishment and complete furnishing of an educational center east of Khan Younis.
- In 2018, funding was obtained to implement an educational project for vulnerable students from impoverished families in the Khan Younis area, benefiting 300 children and 20 teachers.
- Funding was obtained from the Jerusalem Fund in Washington, which enabled the installation of drinking water filters for several kindergartens.
- In 2019, funding was obtained from the German Friendship Fund, which enabled the implementation of a relief project for 250 impoverished families. This project included drilling two wells and installing two desalination units for drinking water, one in eastern Khan Younis and the other in the north.
- In 2020, funding was obtained from the Tripoli Relief and Culture Foundation, which enabled the distribution of cash assistance to 200 orphans.
- Funding was also obtained from the German Friendship Fund, which funded a relief project for 300 impoverished families.
- In 2021, funding was received from the German Friendship Fund, which supported a project to assist children with cancer, furnish several impoverished homes, and renovate and furnish one house in the North.
- In 2021, following the aggression, funding was obtained from the Tripoli Relief and Culture Foundation. This funding enabled the implementation of a relief project for 400 families, the renovation and furnishing of three partially damaged homes, the drilling of three water wells, and the installation of three desalination units in the North and Gaza, benefiting a large number of families.
- In 2021, we received funding from the German Friendship Fund, which enabled us to install a desalination unit and drill a well west of Beit Lahia, benefiting a large number of residents in the area.
- At the end of 2021, our bank account was frozen until April 20, 2022. However, we were able to secure funding to implement a relief project in partnership with the Roya Youth Association and another relief project in partnership with the Our Children Association.
- In September 2022, we received funding from the German Friendship Fund and implemented a project to provide school uniforms, bags, and stationery for 400 students.
- In 2023, we received funding from the German Friendship Fund and implemented a winter clothing project for 450 people of all ages.
- Also in 2023, we received funding from the German Friendship Fund, which enabled us to implement a relief project providing packages to 300 families and Eid clothing for 400 children, along with distributing cash assistance to a number of impoverished families.
- Over the past ten years, the association has participated in a number of cultural, artistic, and literary activities, operating both a cultural center and a sports center.
- Financial assistance was distributed to a number of orphans and impoverished individuals in Gaza in July 2025.
